Dr.K.A.Busia was born on Friday 11th June 1910 at his hometown Wenchi in B/A.His wife was Naa Morkor Busia from Ga land.He attended Methodist Primary and middle school at wenchi in 1920.In 1931-1932 he attended Mfantsipim College at Cape Coast.He attended Kumasi Wesley college in 1932-1935.In 1936-1939 he became a teacher at Achimota college.Dr.K.A.Busia was the first African Professor in the university of Ghana Legon,in 1949. Oxford University batchelor of Arts Hons(oxon) Ph.D social Anthropology in 1941, first lecturer in Africa studies.
In 1942-1949,He was District commissioner from 1942-1949. In 1951,Elected by the Ashanti Confederacy to the legislative Council.He was the leader of Ghana Congress party(United party) .He was appointed senior memberof st.Augustine college.On Wednesday,3rd September 1969 his party won the parliamentary election.
On sunday 5th October 1969,He was sworn in as a Prime minister of the second Republic.The alliance Compliance of deer and the devaluation of cedi by 44 percent in 1974.He was overthrown on 13thbJanuary 19
On Monday,28th august 1978,he died of Natural causes.He was55 years old 2 years and 3 months in office as head of state.
